Huggie Earrings

A huggie earring closes around the lobe like a small hinged hoop, sitting flush against the ear instead of hanging away from it. That tight fit is what makes huggies different from any other earring style. They do not catch on hair, do not flip forward, do not swing during motion. You put them in and the ear reads as complete. The hinge mechanism is the part most huggie designs get wrong. A huggie with a weak hinge develops play within months of daily wear, and once there is play, the earring starts feeling loose and eventually stops closing properly. Our huggies use a click-shut hinge tested to hold tension after thousands of open-close cycles. The wire gauge is proportioned to the hoop diameter so the metal does not flex under normal handling.
