Solid 14k gold is one of the most durable materials in fine jewelry. It does not tarnish, fade, or wear through with daily use. You can wear it in the shower, at the gym, and through normal daily activity without damaging the metal. The only exception is prolonged exposure to chlorine, which can weaken gold alloys over time.
