Floating Diamonds

These diamonds have no setting. No prong, no bezel, no metal surrounding them. Each stone is drilled with a tiny hole, a small link passes through it, and the diamond hangs freely from the chain. Bare, exposed, floating. The gold holds it, but only just. The result is a diamond that moves independently, catching light from every angle because nothing is in the way.

This style goes by many names. Drilled diamonds. Pierced diamonds. Floating diamonds. Whatever you call it, the principle is the same: remove everything between the stone and the eye, and let the diamond exist on its own terms. It is one of the most technically demanding ways to set a diamond, and one of the most visually striking.

Every piece in this collection is crafted from solid 14k gold. The diamonds are conflict-free, drilled with precision and threaded onto fine gold links that allow full movement. Nothing plated, nothing that changes over time. A floating diamond necklace or bracelet worn daily will look exactly the same years from now because the construction is as minimal as the design.

For the floating diamond format in necklaces specifically, diamond solitaire necklaces includes drilled diamond pendant styles. For the same aesthetic in bracelets, gold bracelets sits alongside this collection. Yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. Solid 14k throughout. Nothing between the diamond and the light.
