The round brilliant cut has 57 or 58 facets, each one engineered to maximize how light enters the stone, reflects internally, and exits through the table. It is the most studied and most precisely calculated diamond cut in existence, which is why it remains the most popular. When a round brilliant is cut well, it produces a level of fire and brightness that no other shape matches.
Every round cut diamond ring here features conflict-free diamonds set in solid 14k gold. The cut quality is selected first, because a well-cut round brilliant in a simple setting will always outperform a larger stone with a mediocre cut. In a ring worn on the hand, that cut quality is visible from across a room. The stone either handles light correctly or it doesn't, and the round brilliant cut, when done well, always does.
Round brilliant diamonds work in every setting format. A solitaire prong setting lets maximum light reach the stone from all angles. A bezel setting surrounds the diamond with a rim of gold for a more protective, modern look. A pavé band flanking a round center stone adds continuous sparkle without distracting from the main stone. For solitaire styles specifically, solitaire rings covers that format in depth. For round brilliant diamonds in engagement rings, engagement rings covers the full range.
Yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. Solid 14k throughout. Nothing plated.
