There is no fixed number. The most considered stacks tend to have three to five rings, mixing widths and textures rather than repeating the same band. A thin plain band beside a diamond band beside something slightly wider creates contrast that makes each piece more visible. The rule, if there is one, is that each addition should earn its place.
Yes. Mixed metal stacking has become one of the more enduring approaches in fine jewelry because the contrast between warm and cool tones adds depth that a single metal can't achieve. Because all ENEA rings are solid 14k gold, the finish stays consistent across metals over time, so a mixed stack looks as intentional years from now as it does on the first day.
A stack is never finished. That's the point. You start with one ring and the space beside it immediately suggests another. Done well, stacking is less about accumulation and more about composition, each addition considered rather than automatic.
Every stackable ring here is crafted in our Athens workshop from solid metal, 14k gold or 925 sterling silver. Thin bands, diamond bands, textured bands, plain bands. All built with the same profile so they sit flush against each other without gaps or awkward angles. The details that make stacking work are in the construction, not the styling.
For a starting point, dainty gold rings offer the thinnest bands in the collection, the ones that disappear into a stack and make everything around them look more intentional. For something with more presence within the stack, diamond rings add a line of light without adding bulk. For a single statement piece to anchor the stack, large rings provide the contrast that makes the smaller pieces read. For a stack in a cooler metal, our sterling silver rings include thin bands and the Dyo two ring set.
Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and sterling silver. Solid throughout. Nothing plated, nothing that will look different from the rest of the stack after a year of daily wear.
