Which size should I choose?
At 0.25 ct each the marquise is a fine line of light, a little over 6 mm long, made for every day and for a second piercing. At 0.50 ct each it reads clearly when she turns her head without asking for attention. At 0.75 and 1.00 ct each, close to a centimetre end to end, the studs become the first thing people notice. Because the marquise is the longest cut for its weight, every size looks larger on the ear than a round diamond of the same carat. Two photos in the gallery show all four sizes on the ear, labelled, so you can compare before you choose.

Lab grown or natural: what is the difference?
Both are real diamonds, with the same carbon, hardness and fire; a jeweler cannot tell them apart without laboratory equipment. A natural diamond formed in the earth over millions of years and is far rarer, which is why it costs more. We hold both to the same standard: F to G color, SI1 clarity or better, graded by IGI or GIA. Choose natural if origin matters to you or the pair marks a moment you want to pass down; choose lab grown to put the same budget into larger stones.

Can I wear two sizes together?
Yes, and our photos show exactly that: a larger pair in the lobe and a smaller pair in a second piercing, both set east to west so the two marquise shapes line up along the ear. Each listing is a matched pair of one size, so for the stacked look choose two sizes and wear one of each per ear. How long will my earrings take?
Every pair is made to order in our Athens workshop and is ready to ship in about 2 weeks, whether you choose lab grown or natural. Delivery then takes 2 to 4 business days, with free shipping and tracking.

Can I wear them every day?
Yes. The setting, claws and posts are solid 14k gold, never plated, so they will not tarnish, fade or mark your skin, and four claws hold both tips of each marquise. Check now and then that the push backs sit firmly, as with any stud, and take them off for the pool and the sea, where chlorine and salt are hard on any gold alloy.
