Grand Oval Diamond Necklace

Which size should I choose?
At 0.25 ct the oval is a quiet point of light for every day, made to layer. At 0.50 ct it is the classic gift, clearly a diamond from across a table. At 0.75 ct, the size in our main photos, it sits like a small mirror at the base of the throat. At 1.00 ct, eight millimetres wide, it is the necklace you are asked about. One photo in the gallery shows all four sizes worn together, so you can see them on skin before you choose.

Are the diamonds real?
Yes. They are lab grown diamonds, chemically, physically and optically the same as mined diamonds; a jeweler with a loupe sees a diamond, because it is one. We choose every stone at E to G color and VVS2 clarity or better, the range where the eye sees clean white light with nothing inside it. Your necklace arrives with the ENEA Studio certificate of authenticity stating the carat weight, color, clarity and gold.

Why an oval, set east to west?
Weight for weight, an oval shows a larger face than a round, so the same carat simply looks like more diamond. Turned on its side, it follows the line of the collarbone and catches light across its whole width as you move. It is the engagement ring shape so many have chosen in recent years, worn where everyone can see it.
